Danelectro or Boss DS-1?

I have two pedals just bought. I need to return one of them. A danelectro FAB distortion or a Boss DS-1. The danelectro seems to be giving off a hum, but a better distortion sound. But the boss is less hum and not a very good hum. I don't which to return. Give me some feedback!
