If good people go to heaven & bad people go to hell why did Jesus go to hell, was Jesus evil?

hell was Sheol, place of the dead. Through language translations, it came to be called hell. Before He came, all souls went there. Jesus went there to talk to them and show Himself to them. Believers, ones that knew about the prophecied Messiah went to heaven and deniers went to the real hell. Then Jesus rose. His resurrection opened Heaven for us. So Sheol is no longer.
