Is Whoopi Goldberg secretly against women with the way she 1st defended Roman Polanski & now Mel Gibson?

First she defends a pedo criminal in Roman Polanski by saying it wasn't . Now she defend Mel Gibson a man who has made threats against his ex Girlfriend as well as showing some of his racist side. Why does she always go against the women in these situations? I for one have no respect for this pathetic woman. If the people from the View had any sense they should get rid of her. Your thoughts?
