Males present at Navy (female) weigh-in?
I, and a group of about 40 other future sailors were forced to attend a surprise weigh-in. There were only 5 women present and one female recruiter (amongst many males). I was told that despite the fact that I made weight, I'd have to be taped anyway. I was under the impression that ONLY females would be allowed to tape another female? The male present was a Master Chief who said he was ONLY there as a witness...to ensure the task was being accurately completed. He asked to hike up my shirt and tuck it under my bra so the female could measure my waistline. Next, he told me I'd have to pull down my bottoms to expose my backside so she could measure the "fullest" part of my rear end, around the hips - he demonstrated what he meant, exposing his own underwear in the process. I was uncomfortable with this and said I'd rather just be measured with my bottoms up since I was wearing leggings anyhow, which fit snug around the rear and legs. However, he wouldn't permit it so I had to pull them down below my behind. He then instructed her on where/how to move the tape up and down, stating that it wasn't wrapped around the "fullest" part of my behind and that she should rearrange it. I was embarred and uncomfortable. Was this right? What can I do about this if anything.. I know this is the military, but I never expected to have to undress in front of a man who is not a doctor. I do not feel good about this at all and thought ONLY females could tape other females, not males.
